Mark 1:15 Ministries

Mark 1:14-15 Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”

Mark 1:15 Ministries is a not-for-profit arm of River of Life Alliance Church. We are all about training and equipping Churches and Christians to get out of their comfort zone (the Church) and reach the world for Christ.

Sharing One to One

The simple truth of the matter is that many people in churches these days have become way to comfortable in their pews. They have forgotten the commands of Jesus!

Mark 16:15 And He (Jesus) said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.

The word used in Mark 16:15 is proclaim, and there really is no way around it. It is a clear command to verbally share the Gospel. Our ministry not only goes out to proclaim the gospel to individuals, crowds (open air preaching), but we train Christians how to accomplish it as well.

Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

The command to believers is clear- Jesus has all authority, and He commands us to GO. The process we are commanded to engage in is to make disciples. The place we are to do it is in all nations. The preaching of the Gospel is the way to make disciples, for the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation! (Romans 1:16) but then, we are also commanded to teach them all that Jesus has commanded. This is primarily done in the local church, but Mark 1:15 ministries believes part of our call is to train Christians to reach the lost.

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

The Holy Spirit is given to all believers, and Jesus says one of the evidences that we are saved, one of the manifestations of the Holy Spirit being upon us is that power that causes us to be witnesses. Where are we to be His witnesses? Well, first in our local area, where we live. Then we are to be a witness in our region, perhaps our state. Finally, when we have accomplished that, we are called to go to the ends of the earth. We do not believe that salt water is required for us to fulfill our calling, so we are training up people who can win their Jerusalem for Jesus Christ!

Before you go on and check out the various opportunities and trainings we offer, take a look at the top of the page. That is how many people worldwide have died and have gone into eternity since you opened this page. Many of them are going to spend that eternity in Hell. As Charles Spurgeon noted:

“If sinners will be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our bodies. And if they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees, imploring them to stay. If Hell must be filled, at least let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go there unwarned and unprayed for.”

“Have you no concern for others to be saved? Then you are not saved yourself. Be sure of that!”

Make your calling and election sure, and join us in this great adventure of worldwide evangelism.
