Prayer Letter/Ministry Update
We are preparing to return to France. We have tickets to leave Minneapolis on May 10 and we will arrive in Paris the morning of May 11. The first weeks will be very busy; moving in, working with Paul Keidel to learn field leader responsibilities and teaching a week-long course in Missions in Geneva.

Prayer Requests/Answers to Prayer
Praise the Lord for a great tour for both Carol and Al. We met many new friends in Alliance churches we had never visited before. We felt a great interest in the work of France. Please continue to pray for this needy country: less than 1% know Jesus in a personal way.
Thank you for your prayers for our daughter Shelly who has been accepted into the apprentice program with the Alliance. She is at 100% of the funds needed in support and now is preparing the time of transition. She will be quitting her job on June 15 and leaving for Guinea around the middle of July. Please pray for her safety and a good transition to language acquisition and ministry in Guinea.
Thank you for your prayers for Nadine and Katherine both who prayed to receive Christ right before we came back to the US. Carol met both of these ladies through her neighborhood contacts and through an exchange group in the city of Viroflay. Pray for these ladies that they will continue to grow in Christ.
Carol and I will be taking on a new challenge upon returning to France in May. We will be taking over the field leader position as well as trying to continue developing and teaching the leadership training. We feel a bit overwhelmed by this challenge and really need your prayers.
Pray for our new team of leaders this year, that we will mesh and build a strong team to reach France with the power of Christ.
Pray that hungry French people will come in contact with committed Christ-followers who will be able to testify to the reality of Christ in their lives.
